1534 Oak Street
Jacksonville, Florida
1534 Oak Street is a unique mixed-use building in the heart of the vibrant and diverse 5 Points neighborhood. The building contains a new restaurant on the first level, 2 levels of office space, and Jacksonville’s first true rooftop bar and lounge. The floor plates are approximately 6,400 sq.ft. with an overall building area of approximately 24,000 sq. ft.
The project strives to strengthen the pedestrian experience in the 5 points area and creates a new “destination” for Jacksonville residents. The roof top bar and lounge takes advantage of the neighborhood views and an un-obstructed cross breeze.
The adoption of the building’s material palette – stone, ipe wood, concrete and metal panels – develop the space as an integral part of the Architecture. The metal panels bring color and contrast to the vertical circulation elements of the building.
The fire feature creates a unique focal point for the space. Planters create a buffer from the edge of the building and create an organic contrast to the building materials.
