Mellow Mushroom River City is a ground up single story restaurant, approximately 5,000 sq.ft. with a 1,200 sq.ft.  covered exterior patio.

The primary design concept for the project is logistics and as such shipping containers became a generator.  The exterior materials are corrugated metal panels, ground face exposed block, large glazing units and wood. The interior aesthetic called on various means of transportation including airplanes and trains. Actual shipping containers were also utilized in the dining area and patio.  The interior art concept was developed as a collaboration between the owner, D Coop, and Mellow Mushroom Corporate.
